キャストは、実践を通じて学ぶことがたくさんあります。確かに、仕事を始める前に講師から教えられることなどもたくさんありますが、やはり、実践して初めて気づくこともたくさんありますよね。
経験があるからこそ、あらゆる状況に対処できるようになります。どれだけ話を聞いていても、経験がなければさっと対応できないこともあるでしょう。経験が重要になります。うまくいかず、悩むこともあるかもしれません。
だからこそ、キャストはお客様から学ぶ立場にあると思っています。お客様を上から目線で見るなどとんでもない話。僕たちは、お客様からあらゆることを教えていただいているのです。
そして同時に、お客様にいろいろ伝える立場でもあります。お客様の希望やNGを聞き、それに沿った提案をし、楽しい時間を過ごしていただく。それは僕たちキャストの重要な役目ですよね。
だからこそ、お互いに刺激しあっている関係なんだと思います。そしてそれがマッチした時、僕らの関係はより強固なものになるのではないでしょうか。
Therapists have a lot to learn in the field. Of course, newbies learn a lot from lecturers before starting work, but that is not enough. Practice makes perfect.
Experience will help you to adjust the situation and be creative. Even though you hear a lot of stories or examples, without doing it in the field, it’s very difficult to make your learning useful. Probably there are a lot of moments you have to think through what to do.
Because of that, we should not forget that we are in the place we are learning from my clients. I know some therapists are arrogant but we should never be like that. We have a lot to learn from them.
Also, we are in the position to tell clients as well. We listen to their desires or what they don’t want to do, and we suggest what we can. This is our important role.
We are helping each other to have a great time. Once we feel natural about it, we would be able to build something special.
