次の月曜日は敬老の日です。



兵庫県北播磨多可町で 当時の村長が「お年寄りを大切にして村の発展のための知恵を借りよう」と提唱し、敬老会を開催したことが発祥らしいです。



そこから祝日にするための運動を始めて、村の祝日、県の祝日、国民の祝日になっていったんだって。

村長がきっかけだったなんて知らなかった。

祝日ってそうやって決まっていくこともあるんですね。
